I am..a strong, passionate warrior, who believes in her dreams, inspires others by taking action and is loved because I first loved myself.
Who are you? Without your name, who are you?
We teach our children from a young age to know things by names… ‘look its a tree’… its not just a tree.. its a powerful being in its self that grows not in the strongest ground but in the strongest wind. It provides US with every breath we take, it asks for nothing in return yet we cut them down.
Now this was not a post about saving the rainforest but more a thought on how little we actually stop to give meaning to ourselves. I was poised with this question… ‘who am i?’ for the first time last weekend, and I struggled. It hit me hard. I realised iv never thought about it, or if i have its been negative or a low level version of what i know know i am.
Can you answer this question straight off? I urge you to take some time to ask questions because questions = focus.
Write a list of all your positive attributes. Then list all the positive things you are to others and then a list of all the positive actions you provide or stand for and even hope to be. Now form your ‘I Am’ statement. Say this out loud 3 times a day and form a habit of knowing and owning who you are.
Like iv said. You can not give what you do not already have. This meaning, you can not love, if you have not loved yourself first. You can not serve others if you have not served yourself. You owe it to you.
Be proud of who you are and let the world see it!
Have a great day!
