Who doesn’t love a wee scone with cream and jam?! I LOVE them!! Now don’t get me wrong, nothing beats the ‘real deal’ but when you weigh up the amount of calories and the mix of high sugar, carbs and fats…. Is it really worth it? Probably lol but when your looking to have a scone more than once in a blue moon, these are the next best thing!
I recently made these for a picnic in the park and dam where they gooooddd…..
♦️ 70g ground almonds
♦️ 2 scoops of vanilla bio whey (Genetic’s)
♦️ 3 whole eggs
♦️ 2 table spoons coconut oil – melted
♦️ Vanilla flav drops
♦️ 1 large banana
♦️ Pinch of salt
♦️ 1 tea spoon baking powder
This is the base of the batter – from here you can add your own dark chocolate, fruit or cinnamon.
🍰 Place 3 whole eggs in blender with 1 full banana and blend until smooth.
🍰 Now add all other ingredients and blend.
🍰 This should form a thick batter. If you feel it’s not thick enough, add gradually more ground almonds. If you think it’s too thick, add some almond milk. Ideally you want a thickish batter but still slightly runny.

🍈 Coconut cream (non dairy – with fantastic quality fats)
♦️ Buy one carton of coconut cream (Asda) then whip with some added vanilla whey (half scoop) and some vanilla flav drops!
